I recently had the opportunity to visit with Texas landowners about groundwater at a luncheon meeting with the Kiwanis Club of West. The section of the Trinity Aquifer which serves this city affectionately known as "West Comma Texas," is one of the fastest declining aquifer levels in our state. The landowners and I had a great discussion on how they could determine if they had groundwater - or other resources - under their own properties, and why it's important to know that. Watch the video below for a few excerpts from my presentation. And if your group or club is made up of Texas landowners, and they are interested in learning about the importance of understanding if groundwater (or other resources) is under their land, please contact us!
