Groundwater depletion is a growing concern across the country, but there’s good news coming from deep West Texas. The Texas Railroad Commission recently identified the Maverick Basin Aquifer, located between 5,000 and 8,000 feet below the surface. Local groundwater experts believe this deep aquifer holds significant potential for the region.
Independently, Well Water Finders conducted surveys over the Maverick Basin Aquifer near Crystal City, Texas, using our patented groundwater location technology. Our results confirmed the presence of groundwater between 6,400 and 7,500 feet at this location.
This is an exciting validation of our technology — and it demonstrates how our system can help states across the country locate deep aquifers as potential new water sources and for enhanced aquifer recharge projects.
It’s very possible that additional, significant aquifers exist across the U.S. that have not yet been discovered. That’s why our patented system is a powerful tool for the groundwater industry, helping landowners, municipalities, and policymakers locate untapped water resources to support communities in need.
At Well Water Finders, we’re proud to advance innovation in groundwater detection technology, helping landowners, developers, and communities make smarter, more sustainable water decisions.
