Well Water Finders Joins Austin Technology Incubator to Advance Groundwater Innovation

Andrew and Teisha Vandekop of Well Water Finders accepted into Austin Technology Incubator at UT Austin, featured in Meridian Tribune

We’re honored to share recent coverage from the Meridian Tribune highlighting Well Water Finders’ acceptance into the Austin Technology Incubator (ATI), the nation’s longest-running deep tech incubator at The University of Texas at Austin.

The article, written by Nathan Diebenow, Editor of the Meridian Tribune (January 31, 2024), details how ATI will support our team in scaling our patented groundwater detection technology, which pinpoints depth, volume, and flow of groundwater down to 5,000 feet in just minutes.

Partnering with ATI for Growth

The Austin Technology Incubator is known for helping breakthrough technologies move from concept to commercialization.

“Developing a clean and sustainable water supply is one of ATI’s core missions, and we look forward to helping Well Water Finders commercialize their deep tech solution.”
— Becky Taylor, Interim Executive Director, Austin Technology Incubator

Through ATI’s mentorship, Well Water Finders will accelerate development of portable groundwater detection units available for rental worldwide.

Groundwater Technology with Global Potential

Our system provides fast, accurate data on groundwater location and potential volume, making it a powerful tool for landowners, developers, ranchers, realtors, and water well drillers. Beyond drilling support, our technology will also play a role in aquifer recharge, helping communities manage rainfall and return water to the earth in sustainable ways.
