I’m honored to be named to PitchBook’s list of 109 Female Founders and Investors to Know in 2025, a recognition that highlights the growing movement to support women in entrepreneurship and innovation.
The numbers tell a sobering story: despite record levels of venture capital in the market, companies founded solely by women received just 1% of total U.S. venture funding in 2024, down from 2% the year before. For female founders building high-impact startups, that statistic is more than data, it’s a wake-up call.
At Well Water Finders, the Texas-based startup I founded, we are tackling one of the world’s most urgent challenges: water scarcity. Using our patented groundwater location technology, we help landowners, developers, and communities across drought-prone regions like Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arkansas make smarter groundwater decisions. It’s innovation built to conserve resources, reduce drilling costs, and create sustainable solutions for the future.
Being featured by PitchBook is not only an honor but also a reminder that female founders are driving change in critical industries, from climate tech to real estate to agriculture. When we invest in women, we invest in stronger communities, smarter technologies, and a more sustainable future for us all.
Well Water Finders® is a proud portfolio member of Austin Technology Incubator and Capital Factory. Members: the Texas Groundwater Association and the Meridian, Texas Chamber of Commerce.
