Well Water Finders Recognized at Imagine Next Global Planet-First Innovation Summit
Earlier this year, Well Water Finders was selected as a Global Top 50 Planet-First Innovation by the Sustainable Innovation Council through the Imagine Next Innovation Challenge. Then in April, we all gathered for a 3-day summit during San Francisco Climate Week, bringing together innovators advancing practical solutions in infrastructure, climate resilience, and sustainable systems.

From Top 50 to Top 20
During the summit, Well Water Finders was further selected as one of the Top 20 companies invited to present.
Co-Founder Ross Vandekop shared how improved subsurface visibility supports more than well placement. Groundwater intelligence enables smarter aquifer recharge planning, reduces unnecessary drilling, and strengthens long-term water resilience strategies.
As climate volatility intensifies across many regions, understanding where groundwater exists and how it can be responsibly replenished becomes essential to sustainable land and infrastructure development.

Groundwater in the Planet-First Conversation
The Imagine Next summit convened companies working across energy, materials, climate adaptation, and infrastructure.
Participation reinforced a broader shift already underway:
Groundwater is entering the planet-first conversation.
Reliable subsurface intelligence supports:
- Strategic aquifer recharge planning
- Smarter well placement and reduced dry-hole risk
- Long-term groundwater monitoring
- Responsible rural and municipal development
By shifting groundwater decision-making from reactive drilling to proactive intelligence, Well Water Finders is building a data layer designed to support long-term water stewardship.
